At Novelist Cafe, we were saddened to hear of the passing of Robert B. Parker, a longtime friend of the site and a wonderful writer. His long running Spenser series virtually re-defined the detective genre. Sunny Randall, Jesse Stone and his western characters were equally unforgettable.
