PodJockey | Nov 18, 2011
Bill Moran sits down with Criminal Minds star Joe Mantegna for an intimate, revealing discussion about career, family and what’s really important in life. Mantegna talks about his love of baseball, the lightning bolt moment of seeing the movie version of West Side Story at age 16 , his relationship with David Mamet and his years in the theater, meeting Frank Sinatra, working with Cher and Madonna and the experience of making such great films as Searching For Bobby Fischer and Godfather Part Three. Mantegna also explains how he developed his Emmy and Golden Globe winning performance as Dean Martin in HBO’s acclaimed The Rat Pack and why he believes Criminal Minds is a modern day version of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table. Joe candidly talks about his dedication to family, his daughter’s autism and his charity work.
